Welcome to Sixth Grade

This is Teresa Thornton’s fifth year of teaching 6th grade at St. Thomas More, and she feels extremely blessed to join such a wonderful community. Here’s a little bit about her: Teresa was born and raised in Seattle and was a student at St. Catherine of Sienna school from kindergarten to 8th grade. Afterwards, she attended Holy Names Academy for high school and later went to the University of Washington to earn undergraduate degrees in International Studies and History. After graduating from the UW, Teresa continued her education and went on to obtain a Masters in Teaching degree from Western Governors’ University. When Teresa is not teaching, she enjoys traveling, trying out new recipes, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
